Covid-19 and NOS-HS Exploratory workshop design: Not just challenges but also renewal?
In the autumn of 2021, the NOS-HS Secretariat carried out a report into the impact of the pandemic on the exploratory workshop design so far. The report analysed the 51 applications submitted to the 2021 Exploratory workshop call. It found that the applications showcase exciting new developments in workshop design and research network collaboration by combining online, hybrid and in-person ways of working. The report was prepared and carried out independently by the NOS-HS Secretariat Intern Mari Lehvä.

Study of the Nordic SSH Journal Publishing Landscape
The Nordic publications Committee for Humanities and Social Science Periodicals (NOP-HS) commissioned a study of the Nordic journal landscape in late 2020. The study was conducted in 2021. The study and report have been independently prepared by Associate Professor Mikael Laakso from Hanken School of Economics.

NOS-HS Workshop grant evaluation report 2020
The NOS-HS Workshop funding instrument is aimed at promoting the development of new research areas and programmes within the Humanities and Social sciences in the Nordic countries.
NOS-HS committee conducted an evaluation of the NOS-HS Workshop funding scheme in 2020. The aim of the evaluation was to provide NOS-HS committee with evidence and grounds for assessing how the Workshop funding instrument meets its objectives.
